Selenium Contamination of Groundwater of Majha Belt of Punjab (India)
Abstract: Punjab is facing a crisis situation due to high levels of heavy metals in the underground water table of Punjab. Majha belt of Punjab, namely, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Tarn Taran districts have high Arsenic and Selenium contents in groundwater.
