Abstract

The study monitored the partial replacement of palm kernel shell as an aggregate for concrete production, this was carried out using modelling and simulation techniques, such condition were applied to determine other parameters that their significance impact may have not determined its growth rates in terms of compressive strength. The study observed the void and permeability of the material, including heterogeneity, to influence the increase and decrease of compressive growth rate, such conditions monitored were examined in their various impact during the simulation of the system in determining the compressive strength, the simulation observed increase at 0% of the partial replacement and experience gradual decrease with respect to increase in percentage of replacement of palm kernel shell [PKS] as agg As a consequence, the obtained target strength may be used to component materials of light weight concrete ranging from [C 15-C20]. The study is necessary because the application of modelling concrete simulation techniques has explained the detailed impact of strength level of development on palm kernel shell as an aggregate in development of such target strength.
