Experimental Investigation on Concrete with Partial Replacement of Cement by Fly Ash
Abstract: Fly ash is increasingly used as a supplementary cementitious material to partially replace cement in concrete. This paper presents an experimental investigation on the strength properties of concrete with varying percentages of fly ash replacement, from 0% to 25% by weight. The fresh, hardened, and durability properties of high performance concrete with fly ash percentages of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% were studied. The test results indicate that 20% …

Enhancing Concrete Strength: Investigating the Impact of Glass Fines on Mechanical Properties
Abstract: The global emission of CO2 from cement industries poses a significant environmental challenge, being a primary contributor to environmental issues. Numerous researchers have explored alternative cementitious materials to formulate robust and long-lasting concrete. This study focuses on utilizing waste glass powder (GlP), derived from rejected soda-lime glass bottles collected from various sources, for experimental purposes. The laboratory experiments investigate the behavior of concrete incorporating glass as a partial substitute for …

MODELING EARLY COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE PARTIALLY REPLACED WITH HETEROGENEOUS PALM KERNEL SHELL INFLUENCED BY VOID RATIO AND PERMEABILITY
Abstract: The study monitored the partial replacement of palm kernel shell as an aggregate for concrete production, this was carried out using modelling and simulation techniques, such condition were applied to determine other parameters that their significance impact may have not determined its growth rates in terms of compressive strength. The study observed the void and permeability of the material, including heterogeneity, to influence the increase and decrease of compressive growth …

STUDY OF EFFECT OF SSI ON SEISMIC RESPONSE OF AN IRREGULAR RC STRUCTURE ON SLOPING GROUND AND ITS RESPONSE CONTROL BY USING BRACINGS
Abstract: Structures located on sloping terrain surface are more susceptible to earthquake because of uneven plan and elevation irregularities. Lately, high-rise buildings have been design with various plan and elevation irregularities to elevate their visual aesthetics. In the most of cases, the structural analysis under an earthquake load has been done without considering the effect of soil-structure interaction (SSI), thereby it may not reflect the actual seismic response of the structures. …

Comparison of Estimates, BIM based software VS conventional method
Abstract: Now a day technology is changing rapidly, from first computer to AI it is making our lives more simpler and less error prone. Construction is one sector that has adapted to new technologies swiftly and successfully. The long process of sketching quantities by hand from paper copy to CAD has been streamlined thanks to the introduction of BIM. It's common knowledge that the building industry uses a broad range of …
