An Overview on Analytical Estimation of Citicoline

Abstract

Citicoline is a medication that is used to treat Alzheimer's disease. Citicoline is a nootropic (brainboosting) substance. It's utilized to treat brain insufficiency as well as other neurological conditions like stroke, trauma, and Parkinson's disease. The results of published analytical methods for the determination of Citicoline in biological and pharmaceutical formulations are summarized in this review article. Various techniques such as Spectrophotometry, liquid chromatography (LC), highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC), ultra-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and the hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatographic method were reported.
