Contribution to the Embryology of Alysicarpus tetragonolobus Edgew
Abstract: AbstractIn the present article embryology of Alyscarpus tetragonolobus Edgew is described. The anther wall comprises the epidemis, the fibrous endothecium, two celled stage. The ovule is campylotropus. Crassinucellate and bitegmic. The archesporial in the ovule is hypodermal and cuts off a parietal cell. Embryo sac development conforms to the Monosporic polygonum type.
