Short Report on Surface-Driven Water Flow in PMMA Microfluidic Device towards the Principles of Nanofluidics
Abstract: In this experimental work, a single polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic device is fabricated by maskless lithography, hot embossing lithography and direct bonding technique. Dyed water is prepared and used as working liquid. A CMOS camera is used to record the surface-driven microfluidic flow of dyed water in fabricated microfluidic device. The centrifugal effect on capillary flow is prominent in the recorded snap shot images. This work may be useful to generate …

Modern Trends in Nano-Steel and Composites
Abstract: Alloy formation strategies procured as from powder produced after energetic mill. Micro-component is fabricated from nano-powder processing under controlled heating under reducing atmosphere. Nano-powder introduced more to ideal properties at rest an addendum protocol tending to theoretical assess. Steel crystal refinement is logical to subject nano-metric dimension to obsolete imperfections and to enhance strength than usually procured value. Discovery of nano-grain redefined super-strong steel to subject design of steel with …

Design of Nanoparticle Drug Delivery System for NonSteroidal Anti Inflammatory Agents in the Treatment of Autoimmune Diseases
Abstract: Aim: The aim of the present study is to develop nanoparticle drug delivery system for naproxen and ibuprofen. Methodology: Ibuprofen nanoparticles were prepared by nanoprecipitation technique. Naproxen nanoparticles were prepared by desolvation technique. By adapting continuous addition method and intermittent addition, five formulations were prepared with each polymer. The obtained nanoparticles were evaluated for particle size, zeta potential, yield, drug content, entrapment efficiency and loading capacity. In vitro drug dissolution …

Synthesis, Characterization and Applications of Hair Nanofibres from Waste Human Hair
Abstract: This research communication describes preparation of nano hair fibre from waste human hair. Human hair contains keratin protein in it, which enhances the tensile properties of hair and makes it stronger. Raw fibre of hair was washed with hot water and detergent to make it oil and dirt free and then treated with alkali, to make its surface rough which enhanced the bonding properties of fibre during reinforcement. The chemically …
