Enhanced Thermal Stability and Thermophysical Properties of High Density Polyethylene Based Polymer Composite Synthesized Through Compression Moulding Route
Abstract: Polymer composite materials attract researchers as polymers can be filled with different fillers to get desired properties. Thermophysical properties of HDPE-silicon composite is reported in the present study. HDPE-Si composite was synthesized by hot compression and molding technique for different silicon volumetric ratio. Thermal conductivity as well as thermal diffusivity was found to be enhanced significantly on increasing the filler volumetric ratio. Thermal conductivity value for 20 volume % composite …

Influence of Dielectric and Active layer Thickness on MgZnO Thin Film Transistor Electrical Characteristics
Abstract: From last decades, Thin Film Transistors Technology uses low-k dielectric material as an insulator. Insulator thickness plays an important role in device dimension. The insulating layer also known as the gate oxide separates the gate electrode from the channel region of the transistor. If the insulating layer is too thin, there is a greater chance that electrons can tunnel through the oxide layer, leading to leakage current. To mitigate this …

Structural, Electronic and Optical Properties of ZnO Material Using First Principle Calculation
Abstract: Structural, electronic and optical properties have been determined by using first principle calculation for ZnO material. In present study, full potential linearized augmented plane wave method has been selected with generalised gradient approximation executed in WIEN2k. Structure of ZnO material stabilises in the Wurtzite form of hexagonal closed packed crystal with lattice constant a=3.289Å, c= 5.307Å. Density of states and band structure diagram of ZnO material shows semiconductor nature with …

A Parametric Approach for Decision Making of Low-carbon Building Envelope Design
Abstract: Buildings are major contributors of total carbon emissions than all other categories globally. to reduce these emissions by some quantity must propose the better design before construction. For that, this study proposed a different combinations of building envelope analyzed. From that the best configuration can be implemented for construction to reduce emissions from building at different stages. Through the use of e-QUEST version 3.65, a total of some wall construction …

A Comparative Analysis of Graphene Based Terahertz Reconfigurable Antennas: A Review
Abstract: In this paper, an overview of various reconfigurable antenna designs based on graphene material utilized for terahertz applications is presented. Terahertz electromagnetic spectrum is the term used to describe the frequency range between 0.1 and 10 THz. A promising material for THz reconfigurable antennas, graphene has a low skin effect and a built-in ability to tune by chemical or electrostatic gating. This study reviews the development of reconfigurable antenna for …

Investigation of Electro-optical Characteristic and Structure Optimization of PMMA: Bepq2/BCP/Tpbi Blue Highly Efficient OLED Device
Abstract: In this Investigation, the energy level structure of the Spiro-MeOTAD/PMMA: Bepq2/BCP/Tpbi/LiF OLED has been investigated to explain the method of electron-hole charge carrier pair recombination and the light generation. The Maxwell-Boltzmann statistics model was applied to optimize the structure to reduce the band gap between conductive layers. We found the simulated results J–V, J-Illumination flux, and Current Efficiency (CE) characteristics when we applied forward bias. Inconclusive results determined the threshold …
