Natural Bond Orbital, Bond Order and Frequency based Study of Hydrogen Bond Formation in Different Glycols-Water Complex
Abstract: Natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis, natural atomic orbital (NAO) analysis, Wiberg bond order, vibrational frequency, free energy and enthalpy changes for hydrogen bond formation in different polyethylene glycol + water complex and dipropylene glycol + water complex have been performed by Hatree Fock (HF) method, second order Møller–Plesset perturbation theory (MP2) and Density Functional Theory (DFT) using 6-31++G(d,p) basis set. In order to describe hydrogen bond interaction appropriately, B3LYP DFT-D, …

Studies on the Interaction of Oxovanadium (V) Ion with Human Serum Albumin by Physico-Chemical Methods
Abstract: The pH-metric and transmittance studies between oxovanadium (V) and human serum albumin (HSA) have been made these studies were carried out below isoelectric pH of human serum albumin (HSA). With the help of these studies the binding of oxovanadium (V) and (HSA) were shown in the form of different parameters such as-VM, log Ks and ΔGËš. Effect of the electrolyte (KCl) on the transmittance of metal-prorein complexes was also studied …

Synthesis, Structural Characterization and Biological Studies of Schiff Base Complexes Bearing Indole Moiety
Abstract: Schiff base complexes of N2O2 type derived from indole-3-carboxaldehyde(ind) and amino acids such as glycine(gly), L-valine(val), and L-tryptophan(try) with Cu(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Co(II) and Mn(II) were synthesized and characterized by physical and analytical techniques. The complexes are of non-electrolytic nature having 1:2 (metal:ligand) ratio. The geometry of the complexes was predicted with the combined data obtained from electronic spectral and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The mode of coordination of the Schiff …

Ultrasonic Studies in Binary Liquid Mixtures of Butylamine and Iso-Butylamine with 1-Decanol at 293, 303 and 313 K
Abstract: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Acoustic parameters like isentropic compressibility, acoustic impedance and intermolecular free length along with internal pressure of butylamine and iso-butylamine with 1-decanol have been determined from sound speed, density and viscosity measurements at 293, 303 and 313 K over the entire range of composition. These derived parameters were used to calculate excess functions like deviation in isentropic compressibility, excess acoustic impedance, excess intermolecular …
