Deep Learning for Traffic Sign Recognition in Autonomous Vehicles: Challenges, Trends and Future Directions
Abstract: Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) serves as a fundamental task in the domain of autonomous vehicles (AVs), enabling systems to detect, classify, and respond to road signs with the level of accuracy and speed required for safe navigation. As AV technology continues to evolve, the role of intelligent TSR systems has become increasingly vital. Traditional computer vision techniques, while foundational, often fall short under challenging real-world conditions such as poor lighting, …

Enhancing Industrial Automation: An Adaptive ROS-Controlled Robotic Arm for Diverse Tasks
Abstract: In robotics and industrial automation, there is a growing need for robotic systems that can work on their own and do tasks quickly. This research is about creating an Intelligent Robotic Arm that uses the Robot Operating System and works with a UR3 platform and an OAK-D depth camera for better vision. The Robotic Arm uses the Robot Operating System as its software, which helps it talk to its parts, …

TRACE: Tracking the Loss of Memory Provenance in LLM Agents
Abstract: AI agents that carry memory across sessions gain better personalization and decision-making, but this persistence opens a serious security gap. When an agent repeatedly condenses earlier interactions into compact “lessons,” the trail linking each lesson back to the interaction that produced it gradually fades. We term this effect Reflective Attribution Collapse (RAC): the progressive loss of provenance and forensic traceability that results from repeated memory reflection. Under RAC, a malicious …

Hands-Free Human–Computer Interaction for Smarter Workspaces
Abstract: In current digital work environments, frequent interaction with keyboards and mouse devices can interrupt workflow, especially during presentations, collaborative sessions, and multitasking activities. This study introduces a touchless human–computer interaction system that allows users to operate computer functions through hand gestures and voice instructions, minimizing the need for traditional input devices such as keyboards and mice. The proposed system integrates gesture recognition, speech processing, and optical character recognition (OCR) technologies …

A Multimodal AI-Based System for Real-Time Harassment and Violence Detection Using Surveillance Cameras
Abstract: Public safety in urban settings, as these areas are crowded and experience increasing incidents of harassment, verbal abuse, and physical violence. Traditional CCTV surveillance systems heavily rely on human operators who have to continuously monitor the video feeds, which is inefficient and prone to human error. AI-based harassment and violence detection systems automatically monitor public environments in real-time using video and audio analysis. The system is based on a multilayer …
