Abstract

In this global world, energy crisis is increasing day by day, but fulfilling of that energy by conventional energy generation produces pollution problem and it is also costly. There are million tons of waste biomass like rice husk, sawdust, bagasse, straw, and groundnut shell powder available in powdered forms, which are converted in to producer gas used to generate energy by fluidized bed gasifier. There are various input parameters like ER, bed height, fluidization velocity, and types of biomass affects the temperature, cold gas, carbon conversion and thermal efficiency and gas yield to improve the quality of gas by reducing tar and solid particulate matter. This paper summarizes the research literature referred relative to the fluidized bed gasification affected by the various parameters. Keywords: Producer gas, dry and wet cleaning, tar reductionCite this Article Shah Daxesh N.
