Abstract

AbstractThe VME bus may be broadly utilized mechanical bus, used to connected, mechanical, aviation transmission, military and command application. In arrange to supplant the VME transport interface chip numerous offspring sheets in framework, VME bus interface is executed on FPGA. This paper depicts the common attribute of VME bus and presents a design flow for VME Interface (Read and Write operation). Focus is on VME interface boards comprises of FPGA and steady peripherals. The depiction of the VME interface is examine in detail for FPGA firmware development.
