Nanotechnology the Beginning of a Novel Pathway

Abstract

Nanotechnology has a great history. Even though its actual beginning point is not yet traced. Its roots lie in the fourth century A.D. After Feynman revolutionized the modern nanotechnology, a lot of developments had happened. Along with the historical and technological developments of nanotechnology, which raised a lot of regulatory gaps, and many approaches happened across the globe, in order to bring nanotechnology under one single umbrella. Still, it lacks one uniform regulation scheme across the globe. So, in this paper the historical, technological and regulatory evolution of nanotechnology is discussed. Keywords: Nanotechnology, history, evolution, definition, regulation
