Abstract: This paper examines rhizoremediation as a sustainable and environmentally acceptable remediation technique in response to the growing problem of petroleum hydrocarbon pollution in soils. Brachiaria ramosa, a tropical grass species that may be useful in contaminated settings, is the main emphasis.
