Abstract: From soil sample collected from Little Rann of Kutch-Wild Ass Wild Life Sanctuary, Gujarat a bacterial strain that is non-motile, cocci in shape, obligate aerobic, gram positive, catalase and oxidase positive was isolated and named as strain JC486.
