Synthesis, Characterization and Drug Delivery Application of Poly (Acid Fuchsin) Based Triblock CopolymerBy A Murugesan, S. Palanikumar, B. Rajkumar
Abstract: Synthesis, characterization and its drug delivery application of Poly (acid fuchsin) (PAF) was done under inert atmosphere. The (M0/I0) was maintained at 100. In order to increase the molecular weight and processability, it was block copolymerized with ε-caprolactone (CL) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) separately. The conductivity value of PAF was found to be decreased after the chemical conjugation with poly(ε-caprolctone) (PCL) and poly(tetrahydrofuran) (PTHF) blocks. Thus obtained triblock copolymer was subjected …

Effect of Nature of Short Fibers/Carbon Black on Curing Characteristics and Physico-Mechanical Properties of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber CompositeBy A Murugesan, S Gandhi, R Baskaran, B. Rajkumar
Abstract: AbstractIn this research work, ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) composites were prepared by incorporating the various types of short fibers like cellulose, polyester, p-aramid, m-aramid, cotton short fibers and carbon black on a 2 roll mill. The effect of different short fibers content on the curing characteristics and physico-mechanical properties of EPDM composites were studied. When the loading of carbon black was fixed, it was found that carbon black content …
