  Hepatoprotective Efficiency of Nigella sativa L. Extract on D-Galactosamine Induced Toxicity

  Abstract: The Protective role of Nigella Sativa L. alcoholic extract (NSE) was investigated on D-Galactosamine (DGalN) induced hepatotoxicity in rats. Twenty four adult wistar albino rats were divided into four groups viz Control, D-Galatosamine induced hepatotoxicity, Nigella sativa alcoholic extract and Nigella Sativa alcoholic extract pretreatment prior to the administration of D-Galactosamine.
