Abstract: Pteridophytes are the most important land plants with enormous medicinal properties. The medicinal properties of this group of plants mainly depend upon the numerous phytoconstituents present inside the plants. In the present study, the biological activity spectra of a phytoconstituent Astilbin isolated from Thelypteroid fern Sphaerostephanos arbuscula was predicted using computer-aided program—Prediction of Activity Spectra for Substances (PASS).
