A Review on Behavior of Heat Transfer in the Fluid in Shell and Tube Type Heat Exchanger
Abstract: The primary objective of this literature analysis is to examine the many applications of "Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)" within the domain of heat exchangers. "Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)" has been utilized in several investigations relating to heat exchangers, including fluid flow maldistribution, fouling, pressure drop, and thermal analysis during the stages of design and optimization. The simulations conducted demonstrate that the solutions generated from CFD are generally within the permissible …

Application of Evaporative Cooling in Mushroom Farming: A Tube in Tube Type Evaporative Cooler
Abstract: The effort focuses on mushroom production using evaporative cooling. It has various advantages over conventional cooling techniques, including the ability to drop the temperature based on environmental conditions, the usage of 80 percent less energy than air conditioning, and the cost and maintenance requirements. With proper preparation, evaporative cooling in agriculture can assist lower the temperature and high relative humidity. Also, it helps in storing goods in cold storage using …

Numerical Analysis of Tube Fitted with Internal Baffles used in STHEx
Abstract: A numerical simulation was carried out for heat transfer in a circular tube fitted with rectangular internal baffles using CFD software. The Reynolds number and Prandtl number were varied in the range from 20 to 2000. In-house CFD solver is used for solving Navier-Stoke’s equation coupled with energy equation for internally fitted baffles as a computational domain. The baffles are attached alternately up and down equally spaced on the walls …
