Abstract: Oral surgery procedure became difficult to manage in patients, who are on anti-platelet and anti-coagulant medication. Risk of thromboembolism should be balance by surgeon via reducing or stopping anti platelet and anticoagulant therapy in such patients, because there are more risk of excessive post extraction bleeding if anticoagulation or anti platelet medications are prescribed at therapeutic dose during surgical procedure.
