Micro Steam Turbines for Hybrid Power Source Vehicles
Abstract: The paper describes a new hybrid power system for vehicles consisting in an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) plus a micro steam turbine (MST) that supplies energy to an electric motor. The result of this hybridization is a reduction in fuel consumption and an improvement in performance efficiency.
