Abstract: Soft tissue defects of lower leg and foot have a high incidence and are not easily healed for its anatomic physiological properties. Moreover, they tend to recur easily after healing with a long duration of disability. Accompanying arteries of the superficial limb nerves supply not only nerves but also skin through their branches, and such close relationship between nerve and skin supplies can ensure the survival of the neurofasciocutaneous flaps. …
