Effect of 2D-EBG Structure on Monopole Antenna Radiation and Analysis of Its Characteristics
Abstract: In this paper, we present a two dimensional electromagnetic (2D-EBG) square shaped mushroom structure placed between two monopole antennas. Two artificial properties of this 2D-EBG structure such as PMC and Band Reject Region are investigated here.
