Anti-static Additive and Particulate Formation in Jet Fuel at Low Temperature
Abstract: Over-dosed anti-static additive Stadis 450 can form particulates in jet fuel when temperature goes down to around -38oC. The particulate formation was observed during freezing point test. The jet fuel produced by Toruk refinery of Arabian Gulf Oil Company of Libya had freezing point of about -55OC which is lower than required-47OC for jet fuel A-1. Wear Behavior of Al-Alloy (Al-5 Mg) in-situ Reinforced TiB2 Particulate
Abstract: A research has been carried out for replacing Al monolithic alloys by aluminium (Al) based metal matrix composites (MMCs) in many engineering applications where high wear resistance and stiffness are required. In this paper, the investigated dry sliding wear behavior of TiB2 particulate reinforced composite of Al-Alloy (Al-5 Mg) is discussed. The in-situ Al-Alloy (Al-5 Mg) 10wt% TiB2 composite material were prepared by molten flux reaction synthesis using electric melting …
