Catalytic Trends of OsO4 for the Taurine-Bromamine-T Redox System: Kinetic and Mechanistic Chemistry of Catalyzed and Uncatalyzed Reactions
Abstract: Taurine (2-ethane aminosulfonic acid) facilitates as a building block for protein synthesis, also possessing various other vital biological functions. Literature survey revealed that there was no report available on the oxidation of taurine with any oxidants from its kinetic, mechanistic and catalytic aspects.
