  Mechanical Properties of Hybrid Elastomer Blends

  Abstract: Novolac nano additives (0–40) wt.% were added to NBR/CR hybrid blends and study the influence on mechanical properties of rubber. Mechanical properties included: hardness, resilience, and Compressibility. The results obtained from IRHD test, hardness test and compression test shown that the novolac nano additives has a positive effect on the hardness of hybrid rubber, where the hybrid rubber hardness increases with increasing the amount of novolac nano additive.
