Abstract: Osteoporosis has become a public health problem worldwide. In Osteoporosis the bone loses their peak bone mass and becomes weak, fragile and susceptible to fractures at minimum stress. Osteoporosis can be compared with Asthikshaya. Asthis and vata are having direct relationship with each other and reciprocal to each other i.e., if vata increases then it will decrease the bone mass.
