Abstract: The travelling salesman problem (TSP) is a well-known problem in the field of operations research and has applications in many areas including manufacturing and production. This article is a small review of the book titled “In pursuit of the traveling salesman: mathematics at the limits of computation” written by William J. Cook published in 2012 by PRINCETON UNIVERSITY PRESS.
