Hydrothermal synthesis of ZnS for efficient photodegradation of Malachite green
Abstract: In this work, ZnS nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method. Various characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-visible optical spectroscopy and FT-IR spectra were used to study the structural, composition and optical properties of synthesized nanoparticles. The XRD pattern showed that the prepared ZnS nanoparticles have a cubic zinc blende structure. The band gap is calculated from absorption spectra with the help of Taucplot and is found to be …

HRTEM and Current-Voltage Study of ACNT-MoS2 Nanocomposite Prepared by Hydrothermal Method
Abstract: Recently amorphous carbon nanotube and their nanocomposites are most influenced research topic in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Here in this paper, amorphous carbon nanotube-molybdenum disulfide nanocomposite has been prepared by hydrothermal method. Hexaammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate, thiourea and amorphous carbon nanotube were used as main material in that process. Amorphous carbon nanotube have been prepared separately by a low temperature chemical process. Finally the high resolution transmission electron microscope …

Synthesis of Metallic Copper Nanoflowers, Nanocrystals and Nanorods using Electrodeposition and Hydrothermal Techniques
Abstract: Copper nanoflowers and nanocrystals have been fabricated using two different techniques; electro-deposition of copper in polymer and anodic alumina templates (AAT) and Cetyltrimethyl-ammonium Bromide (CTAB)-assisted hydrothermal method. Nanorods of copper are produced by electrodeposition in 100 nm AAT. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) micrographs record some interesting morphologies of metallic copper nanoflowers and nanocrystals. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) has been used to determine morphology and chemical composition of polycrystalline …
