Identification of Elastic Constants of Polymer based Composites through Vibration Test Data
Abstract: This paper presents sex per mental and analytical methods of determining elastic constants of two different kinds of materials. Elastic constants of unidirectional glass/epoxy laminates and Aluminium from the measured eigenfrequencies has been performed. Traditional ‘strike method’ is adopted for the exciting the structure and response is obtained through accelerometer.
