Numerical Study on Thermal Performance Assessment of a Compact Heat Exchanger Equipped with Two Broken Twisted Strips
Abstract: Twisted strips are a widely used technique for heat transfer enhancement. In the present study, it proposed that two broken twisted strips aiming at achieving good thermohydraulic performance. Effects of the two broken twisted strips (BTS) on the heat transfer, friction factor and thermal performance factor behaviours in a heat exchanger are reported along with smooth duct.
