Development of Primer as a Value Added Product from Waste PET
Abstract: Polyethylene terephthalate was depolymerized by two different chemical recycling techniques i.e. glycolysis and aminolysis. Glycolysis is carried out with Zinc hydroxide and with conventional catalyst i.e. Zinc acetate for the comparable yield of the monomer. Glycolysis is carried out with ethylene glycol whereas aminolysis is done with ethanolamine.
