Progress and Uses of Satellite Remote Sensing
Abstract: Satellite remote sensing has become an important tool for watching, studying, and controlling both natural and man-made systems on Earth. Satellite sensors collect electromagnetic radiation that is reflected or transmitted from the Earth's surface. This data is needed for environmental monitoring, resource management, and hazard assessment.
