Abstract

The seam welding is one of the most popular welding techniques used in industries for leakproof welding joints. This basically uses a non-consumable welding electrode in the form ofwheel. The input parameters in seam welding play a significant role in deciding the weldquality, strength, cost and speed. Most of the times, manufacturer faces a problem to selectoptimum process parameters for a good quality weld. This paper will present the effect ofdifferent welding parameters like welding current, weld time, sheet thickness, and electrodeforce on the leakage in seam welding in fuel tank. All these parameters have different effectson welding leakage defect.Cite this ArticleKuldip Patel, Piyush Mandaliya,Acharya GD.
