This paper presents the modeling and analytical simulation task of a nano cantilever beam gyroscope. Micro/nano gyroscope as an effective rate measurement sensor is of extreme importance in several modern equipments including aircrafts, satellites and even in small cameras. Several types of such gyroscopes are in use and various research simulations were performed over the last one decade. Compared to tuning fork and ring type, the beam type gyroscopes are relatively easy to use and the coupled dynamics can be resolved conveniently. Just like, a resonator, the first step is to know the static pull-in behaviour corresponding to a given geometry. When the time coordinate is absent, it is referred to as static problem. Static pull-in analysis is carried-out by considering the intermolecular and electrostatic forces. Model results are illustrated in the form of graphs. Keywords: Nano beam gyroscope, static pull behaviour, coupled dynamic equations, damping and intermolecular forcesCite this Article: Gurjar Ashish Kumar, Srinivas J.
