Advances in Speed Control Techniques for Three-phase Induction Motors
Abstract: Induction motors are pivotal in modern industrial applications due to their efficiency and adaptability. Electric motors that run on alternating current (AC) and are driven by a rotating magnetic field are called induction motors. They consist of coils that use electromagnetic induction to transform electrical energy into mechanical energy, a rotor, and a stator. AC induction motors are incredibly adaptable, efficient, and have a comparatively straightforward construction. This paper provides …

Implementation of Energy-efficient Axial Fans for Air Handling Unit Using AI Model
Abstract: This research explores the integration of energy-efficient axial fans in Air Handling Units (AHUs) within a large automotive manufacturing facility to enhance HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) performance and reduce energy consumption. Standard AHUs in the facility’s clean rooms and other spaces utilize traditional blower fans, which primarily rely on static pressure, limiting their efficiency. By replacing these with electronically commutated (EC) axial flow fans, which leverage both static …

Development of 3D Printing Filaments from Industrial Waste Plastics
Abstract: The global plastic waste crisis has prompted innovative approaches to sustainable material reuse, particularly in additive manufacturing. Simultaneously, the accumulation of plastic waste presents significant environmental concerns. Recycling plastic into filament supports eco-friendly innovation and brings us closer to a circular economy where materials are reused instead of thrown away. This study investigates the development of 3D printing filaments from industrial waste plastics, including polypropylene (PP), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), …
