Effect of CTBN Micro-Rubber Particles on Fatigue Performance of Carbon Reinforced Epoxy Composites
Abstract: In the automobile industry, composite materials are sought after for their lightweight and superior properties, such as high stiffness, specific strength, and chemical resistance. Epoxy resins, brittle in nature, are used as a matrix system in many composite manufacturing industries and are enhanced by reactive liquid rubbers to increase toughness. In this research, carbon reinforced epoxy composites were manufactured with carboxyl-terminated butadiene-acrylonitrile (CTBN) rubber particles using low-cost vacuum assisted resin …

Review on Fatigue Behavior of Nut and Bolt
Abstract: This articles is study about the characterization of nut and bolt. Design standards and reticulated scripture have associated herewith after factory acceptance test (FAT) classes. Henceforth bolt and nut script has protocoled from accessible region merged fame from three multi-international continental design standards. These are the American Bridge Design Specifications AASHTO: 2012, the European Standard EN 1993-1-9:2005 and British Standard BS 7608:2014. Frequent applicability of bolted connection has scriptive issued …

New Design Formulae for Safety and Precision in the Fatigue Engineering of Mechanical Components and Structures
Abstract: This paper introduces two new formulae, termed the Nori Fatigue Formulae, for determining the maximum allowable fatigue stress in mechanical components and structures with significant stress concentrations. These formulae will eliminate the usage of code-sensitive safety factors along with other factored values from the entire mechanical design engineering work, ranging from a safety pin to spacecraft. The first formula gives the maximum allowable fatigue stress in tension, and the second …

Analysis of Effect of Human Hair in Compressive and Split Tensile Strength of Concrete
Abstract: AbstractThis research paper presents the analysis of the effect of human hair in compressive and split tensile strength of concrete. In the recent time due to a significant increase in population increases large amount of human hairs. Human hairs are strong in tension and it also reduces greater impact, abrasions and shatter resistances in concrete and prevents many problems in this environment. Fiber reinforcement improves the impact strength and fatigue …
