Determining Fertility Status of soil at Different land uses at Koka Watershed Tembaro Woreda, Central Ethiopian
Abstract: The study was conducted in Central Ethiopia, Tembaro Woreda, for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024, at Bohe and Bachira Kebeles within the Omo River Basin in the Koka watershed. The objectives of this study were to determine the fertility status of different land uses at the study sites. The study results indicate that soil at the study site ranges from moderately acidic to slightly acidic, with low to moderate …

Soil Fertility Assessment of Selected Villages in Bhuban Block, Dhenkanal, Odisha, India
Abstract: Using the Global Positioning System (GPS), the soil fertility condition of the Bhuban block in the Dhenkanal district of Odisha was prepared. In 5 villages in the Bhuban block of the Dhenkanal district, located in the central mid-tableland Agroclimatic region of Odisha, India, a study on the status of soil fertility was conducted. It is evident that the Bhuban block's several villages have varying textural classes, from loam to sand. In …

NPSB Fertilizer Effect on Yield of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) At Wolaita Zone Sodo Zuria Woreda, South Ethiopia
Abstract: Wheat (Triticum aestivum) is one of most important cereal crop in Ethiopia. The major obstacle for farmer to produce wheat in Ethiopia was low soil fertility status and nutrient imbalance. The experiment was conduct during 2019 and 2020 ‘meher’ cropping season at Kokate substation of Areka agricultural research center at sodo zuria woreda wolaita zone south Ethiopia with objectives of evaluating the effect of NPSB fertilizers rate on yield and …

QR Based Plant Care System
Abstract: The QR Based Plant Care System is an innovative digital solution developed to improve plant monitoring, maintenance, and information management through the integration of QR code technology with smart agricultural practices. Traditional plant care methods mainly depend on manual record keeping, handwritten labels, and human observation, which often result in data loss, inconsistency, and inefficient plant management. With the increasing demand for sustainable agriculture and efficient resource utilization, there is …

Integrated Assessment of Soil Health Through Macronutrient Status and Physico-Chemical Properties in Selected Agricultural Blocks of Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh, India
Abstract: Soil health is a critical determinant of agricultural sustainability, particularly in ecologically sensitive Himalayan regions where intensive cultivation and heterogeneous landscapes influence nutrient dynamics. Balanced macronutrient availability, together with favourable physico-chemical properties, governs crop productivity, soil resilience, and long-term ecosystem functioning. Despite the agronomic importance of Kangra District (Himachal Pradesh), localized assessments integrating nutrient status with physico-chemical indicators across representative agricultural blocks remain limited. This study aimed to evaluate soil …
