Design, Analysis and Optimization of 10 Ton Hydropneumatic Press Machine
Abstract: The main aim is to reduce the cost of the hydropneumatic presses and equipment without compromising on the quality of the output and using the optimum resources possible in designing the hydropneumatic presses and equipment. One way of doing it will be the optimizing the volume of material utilized for building the structure. An attempt has been made in this direction to reduce the volume of material. So here we …

Development and Investigation of Minimum Power Non-contact Swirl Vane Gripper
Abstract: The Swirl vane gripper is a new non-contact gripper, which uses negative pressure created by the air swirling flow to create an upward lifting force. This upward force can be used to lift an object, which is placed underneath the gripper. In comparison with other non-contact grippers, this gripper is electrically actuated (rather than pneumatically) and hence require less power to generate same lifting force as produced by other grippers. …

Pneumatic Operated Engine
Abstract: The increasing awareness of fossil fuel depletion & environmental pollution has accelerated the need for the development of sustainable & eco-friendly alternatives to traditional internal combustion engines. Pneumatically operated engines have been identified as a potential alternative for small-scale mechanical power generation owing to their advantages of zero exhaust emissions, noise reduction & operational safety. This paper describes the design, development & performance analysis of a pneumatically operated engine, which …
