Automatic Tyre Inflation And Deflation System in Automobiles
Abstract: Modern cars have a lot of features and electronic systems which support the driver in dangerous driving situations. Such systems are not only developed for keeping the cars under control, but they also try to improve the subjective feeling during driving and comfort. One of such systems has the task to measure and control the pressure of the tyres: Automated Tyres Pressure System (ATPS).The system is can be placed in …

Pneumatic Operated Engine
Abstract: The increasing awareness of fossil fuel depletion & environmental pollution has accelerated the need for the development of sustainable & eco-friendly alternatives to traditional internal combustion engines. Pneumatically operated engines have been identified as a potential alternative for small-scale mechanical power generation owing to their advantages of zero exhaust emissions, noise reduction & operational safety. This paper describes the design, development & performance analysis of a pneumatically operated engine, which …

Soft Robotic Actuators in Corporeal Assistive Devices
Abstract: The following paper discusses various applications of soft robotic actuators mainly in the form of corporeal assistive devices i.e., devices for assisting various parts of the human body. Being inexpensive, light weight, soft, non-restrictive and easy to use they are replacing the conventional rigid actuators in every application. Soft actuators are pneumatically powered and consist of compliant elastomeric materials. This paper reviews the use of soft robotic actuators in assistive …

Development and Investigation of Minimum Power Non-contact Swirl Vane Gripper
Abstract: The Swirl vane gripper is a new non-contact gripper, which uses negative pressure created by the air swirling flow to create an upward lifting force. This upward force can be used to lift an object, which is placed underneath the gripper. In comparison with other non-contact grippers, this gripper is electrically actuated (rather than pneumatically) and hence require less power to generate same lifting force as produced by other grippers. …

Development of Intermittent Gas Lift Optimum Time Module Using Automatic Pneumatic System
Abstract: Artificial lift technique is used to bring hydrocarbons to the surface when they cannot come to the surface on their own. Gas lift is an artificial lift technique which is classified into continuous and intermittent gas lifts. Continuous gas lift is used when the hydrocarbon fills into the wellbore continuously but is not able to come to the surface while intermittent gas lift is used when the fluid flow into …

Experimental design and FEA Evaluation of Vibration-based Actuator
Abstract: AbstractCircuit breakers are mostly used in power distribution systems. Adornments of electrical switch extend and supplement its capacity. Essentially, circuit breakers are utilized in circumstance where current stock surpasses characterized cutoff points or short out in this way, which lead to component failure. Mechanical life test, operational dependability test, spillage module activity test, under voltage and shunt discharges test, assistant and caution contacts test are significant in the electrical switch …
