Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma of Parotid: A Case Report
Abstract: A 14-year-old girl presented with a painless, mobile, and firm swelling in the left parotid gland in infra-auricular region. The fine needle aspiration revealed a mucoepidermoid tumour. Histopathological report suggestive of a mucoepidermoid carcinoma. The presence of a parotid mass with progressive growth in a child could correspond to a mucoepidermoid carcinoma. A total number of 75 charts of patients treated for SGTs at the department of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, Pyongyang Medical College Hospital from January 2011 to December 2015 were retrospectively reviewed.
