Study of Size Controllable Synthesis of Indium Tin Oxide Nanoparticles and Their Different Characterizations
Abstract: Nanocrystalline indium oxide powders were prepared by combustion synthesis. The changes of nanostructure caused by material processing were studied using X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and Brummer Emette teller analysis (BET). The stoichiometric composition of the starting indium tin oxide powder (cubic in traces) induced phase transitions to high temperature. We found that the phase transition to ITO was initiated at the …

A technical review and analysis of Surface Plasmon Resonance based Optical Fibre Sensors for exploiting oxides materials
Abstract: The review focuses on the most important contributions of oxides materials in the field of surface plasmon resonance in modern years. Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) based fiber optic sensor with indium oxide (In2O3) layer covered on the center of the optical fiber is displayed and theoretical examined. The sensitivity of the SPR based fiber optic sensor has been also assessed numerically. Itis indicated that the proposed SPR based fiber optic …

Growth of Cu2O on TCO by SILAR method acts as an alternative buffer electrode layer towards the development of organic solar cell
Abstract: In many types of optoelectronic devices, layer of PEDOT: PSS is sandwiched between the indium-tin oxide (ITO) electrode and the active layer. Buffer PEDOT: PSS provides a well- defined work function which is higher than that of ITO (4.2eV), it smooths the ITO surface and so avoids shorts, and it also protects the active layer from ingress of indium or oxygen, leading to longer device lifetimes. The role of PEDOT: …

Investigating the effect of Anodes workfunction on the Opto-electronics Performance of Organic Light Emitting Diode
Abstract: The research aims to assess the performance of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) by exploring how various anode materials affect their optoelectronic properties. OLEDs are crucial for modern displays and lighting, and their efficiency and functionality are heavily influenced by the materials used in their design. This study examines four different anode materials: Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), Zinc Oxide (ZnO), Aluminum-doped Zinc Oxide (AZO), and Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) Polystyrene Sulfonate (PEDOT: PSS). These materials …

Enhanced Room-Temperature Gas Sensing Performance of 2% Mn-Doped Sri Lankan Natural Graphite Thin-Film Sensors for Ammonia, Acetone, and Ethanol vapors Detection
Abstract: The development of room-temperature gas sensors with high sensitivity, fast response, and low-cost remains a critical challenge for environmental monitoring and safety applications. In this work, we report the fabrication and characterization of a 2% Mn-doped Sri Lankan natural graphite thin-film sensor for the detection of ammonia (NH3), ethanol (C2H5OH), and acetone (C3H6O) vapors under ambient conditions. The sensor was prepared using the doctor-blade coating method on Indium Tin Oxide …

Design and Analysis of Quantum Dot Solar Cell Using SCAPS-1D Software
Abstract: Compared to conventional solar cells, quantum dot solar cells (QDSCs) have drawn a lot of attention due to their hybrid structure, low production cost, and greater power conversion efficiency. Nevertheless, carrier recombination in the quasi-neutral region (QNR) continues to limit their performance. The electron transport layer (ETL) and hole transport layer (HTL) are two of the layers that are most important in determining the overall efficiency of the device. The …

Configuration and Properties of Group III Elements in the Periodic Table
Abstract: Group III elements comprise those found in the third column of the periodic table, including boron, aluminum, gallium, indium, and thallium. These elements possess three valence electrons in their outermost shell, characterized by the electron configuration ns2np1, which influences their location and characteristics within the periodic table. The distribution of electron pairs, formal charges, oxidation states, and molecular morphologies of Group III elements and their compounds are illustrated in this …
