Abstract: AbstractThe study was carried out in Kalsa watershed, Nainital district, Uttarakhand. Four different forest types viz., temperate broadleaf forest, temperate conifer forest, pine forest and degraded forest were mapped using satellite images of IRS-1D LISS III sensor.
