Hydrodynamic Study of Turbulent Fluid Flow in an Axi- Symmetric Duct with Crescent
Abstract: In this article, the fluid flow analysis in an axi-symmetric duct with and without crescent hasbeen studied numerically. Fluent 6.3 based on finite volume method have been used to analyzethe flow problem. The parameters varied are non-dimensional crescent length1 ( / ) C L  S R of0.9 to 0.5 and Reynolds number of 7.5X104 to 3.5X105 respectively. An experiment has beencarried out in a straight sudden expansion pipe without …

Role of Models in Predicting Toxicity Criteria against Arsenic Toxicity Test Exposed to Therapon Jarbua (Forsskal, 1775)
Abstract: Prediction of safe concentration, no-effect concentration for reduced animal usage in chronic toxicity test was attempted as well as to create a toxicity criteria limit for arsenic using Therapon jarbua in static renewal acute toxicity test. The LC50 value derived was 3.95 (3.43–4.58) mg/L arsenic. The derived LC50 was applied for prediction of safe concentration leading to a value of 39.5 µg/L. The raw survival and mortality data was fed …

TPLO-M: A Dual-Purpose Solution for CCL and MPL in Dogs
Abstract: Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) rupture and Medial Patellar Luxation (MPL) are common orthopedic conditions affecting the canine stifle joint, particularly in small and toy breeds and larger athletic dogs. When these conditions occur together, they pose a significant surgical challenge due to the combined biomechanical abnormalities. Traditional surgical approaches, such as Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) for CCL insufficiency and corrective procedures for MPL, do not adequately address both conditions …

Practical Implementation of Textile Antenna for C-Band Application
Abstract: This article is explained with the design and fabrication of flexible wearable textile antennas integrated with the newly introduced C band application. In this paper, a compact crescent moon shape patch antenna for C-band application is presented. The presented antenna is designed on jeans substrate with dielectric constant of 1.7. The overall size of antenna is 53.3x59.9x1 mm. This antenna has been simulated using CST software. The presented antenna resonates …
