Antifungal Activity of Zero-valent Iron Nanoparticles Synthesized by Green Protocols Using Camellia sinensis Extract against Pathogenic Aspergillus Species
Abstract: Zero-valent iron nanoparticles with potential antifungal activity were synthesized following a green protocol using Camellia sinensis leaves extract. FeSO4.7H2O was reduced to black metallic iron by Camellia sinensis leaves extract. The green synthetic procedure without using any hazardous chemical reagents is hopeful which reduces the possibility of chemical pollution. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by UV/visible and fluorescence spectroscopies. The surface morphology, size, shape and particle distribution were studied using …

Synthesis and Characterization of Bamboo-Supported Nano Zerovalent Iron (NZVI-AB) for Cr(VI) Sequestration
Abstract: Remediation of chromium contaminated sites present both technological and economic challenges, as conventional methods are often too expensive and difficult to operate. In this study, bamboo supported Zero-valent iron (Fe0) nanoparticles were synthesized, characterized, and were tested for removal of Cr(VI). Fe0 nanoparticles were synthesized by the reduction of ferric chloride with avocado polyphenols and characterized by FTIR (Fourier transform infrared) spectroscopy and XRD (X-ray diffraction). Batch experiments were performed …

Synthesis of Green Nanoparticles for Degradation of Cellulose
Abstract: Late advances in nano-science and technology have also prompted the advance of novel nanomaterials, which eventually increment potential eudaimonia and ecological perils. Enthusiasm for growing Earth's thoughtful ways for the mix of auriferous nanoparticles has been enlarged. The intention is to limit the negative effects of the designed methodology with artificial compounds and subordinate mixes. The abuse of assorted biomaterials for the mix of nanoparticles is a profitable methodology in …
