Performance Evaluation of Topology Based Routing Protocols for VANET in City Scenario
Abstract: Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANET) is an emerging technology that will help in increasing road safety of commuters and comfort of passengers. In this paper, we compare various topology based routing protocols Sequence Distance Vector (DSDV), Ad-hoc on Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) that are Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) protocols for their behavior in VANET networks, that is a subclass of MANET based on few parameters. The …

Enhancement of Inter-vehicular Communication in VANET based on LEACH and AODV Protocol by Removing the Energy Holes
Abstract: Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANET) is a particular kind of Mobile Ad-hoc network (MANET), in which vehicles on the road form the nodes of the networks. VANETs several applications are used in Intelligent Transportation System. The dynamic variation in topology shortens the forceful time of routing. Ad-hoc on Demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol is the important routing protocol for VANET. It makes several unutilized routes between a source and a …

An Efficient Secure and Security Authentication Scheme for Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks
Abstract: AbstractVehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) are planned to be deployed within the next decennary to repair driver protection, stop clash, and provide traffic interpreter. Present years have supported an increasing interest in the security schemes for VANETs, as this territory was generally less investigated contrasted with different regions medium access and routing. In particular, efficient authentication of the messages in a VANET with other desirable security features has been heavily …

Collision Avoidance Using Li-Fi Based Inter Vehicle Communication
Abstract: Most countries in the world have an alarming record in number of death/disability due to tremendous number of accidents. Even though road transport in India is very prevalent for various reasons, the rate of road-accidents and fatality in the country is very high. Accidents occur due to the unawareness of the public regarding the same. Researchers have observed that majority of the accidents where solely due to factors involving the …

Do Networks Fly: A Review on FANET
Abstract: During the previous decades, a lot of work has been done on UAVs due to advancement in the electronics, sensor fields which makes UAVs less costly. UAVs are a component of UAS, which include a UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. To cope up with the problem of disaster recovery efficiently there is a need to use an intelligent and sophisticated technology called flying …

Improved Performance by Using k-means Clustering in Vehicular Ad Hoc Network
Abstract: AbstractVANETs are formed by applying the principles of MANETs, in which all node, i.e., vehicles can pursue traffic law with high speed. VANETs support two types of communication: vehicle - to- vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to-infrastructure (V2I). Vehicles communicate to RSU for the exchange of keys for the security purpose and RSU communicate to Authentication Server (AS) for the formation of secret keys. But in existing work they perform nonsymmetric …
