Sound Source Localization Application on Nios II Embedded System
Abstract: This paper presents the software implementation of binaural sound source localization employing interaural time difference (ITD) method on NIOS system built on FPGA Altera DE2-70. Hardware components on NIOS system were configured and generated using SOPC builder. FFT based cross correlation algorithm was developed for ITD computation. Localization Based Beamforming Approach to Audio Source Separation from Binaural Mixtures
Abstract: This paper presents an approach of localization on the basis of audio source separation from binaural mixtures with adaptive beamforming. A new source localization technique is proposed to spatially localize the sources with two degrees of freedom (azimuth and elevation).
