Influence of Dip Cycles on the Structural, Optical and Morphological Properties of CdS-SILAR Deposited Thin Films
Abstract: Cadmium sulphide (CdS) thin films were deposited on a glass substrate by a relatively simple and cost effective successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method at temperature 80ºC at different deposition cycles. For a fine nanocrystalline thin film growth, the parameters include concentrations of cationic and ionic precursors, number of immersion cycles, and the immersion time. A study was made to know how dip cycles affects the structural, surface …

Growth of Cu2O on TCO by SILAR method acts as an alternative buffer electrode layer towards the development of organic solar cell
Abstract: In many types of optoelectronic devices, layer of PEDOT: PSS is sandwiched between the indium-tin oxide (ITO) electrode and the active layer. Buffer PEDOT: PSS provides a well- defined work function which is higher than that of ITO (4.2eV), it smooths the ITO surface and so avoids shorts, and it also protects the active layer from ingress of indium or oxygen, leading to longer device lifetimes. The role of PEDOT: …

Compositional and Morphological Properties of Nickel and Manganese Doped ZnO Nano Thin Films Grown by Silar Method
Abstract: The composition and morphology of pristine, Ni, Mn and Ni and Mn doped ZnO are discussed in this paper. These ZnO thin film nanostructures were prepared by SILAR method. The deposition conditions have been optimized based on their structure and on the formation of smoothness, adherence and stoichiometry. The results of studies by EDS attached with, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), reveal the varieties of microstructural and morphological modifications feasible with …

Morphological, Optical and Structural Studies of Deposited ZnO Films by SILAR Method for Solar Energy Applications
Abstract: The deposited ZnO films were grown on glass substrates using the Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction. The morphology of the deposited ZnO is that of flower-like bud.The optical properties were characterized using UV/VIS spectroscopy, the optical band gap decreases with increasing reaction time, and these films have band gap values of 3.19eV, 3.22eV, 3.24eV and 3.25eV. The crystal structure of the films were also characterized using the X-Ray Diffraction …
