Triple Band PIFA Antenna Using The DGS Method
Abstract: In this paper, a new design of a triple band Planner Inverted –F Antenna (PIFA) with DGS, for mobile and wireless communication systems is presented. The PIFA antenna consists of ground plate, patch antenna, feeding port and shorting plate connected to the ground plate. The designed antenna has been simulated with the help of the CST (computer Simulation Technology) software microwave studio 2010. The simulated results calculated for the resonant …

Design of Ultra-Wide Band Slotted PIFA for Wireless Devices
Abstract: The design of an ultra-wideband planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) is proposed for mobile phone applications in this paper. The different slots are introduced on radiating patch and ground plane. The volume of the radiating antenna is 40x40x3.5 mm3 which is small as compared to reported work. The ultra-wide bandwidth with acceptable return loss –6 dB is obtained from 4.6 to 30 GHz with good matching and radiation characteristics. Different performance …

Performance Analysis of Single Band PIFA for 4G/LTE Mobile Communication Networks
Abstract: This paper presents a Planer Inverted F Antenna (PIFA) for Fourth Generation (4G) Long Term Evaluation (LTE). The proposed antenna is designed on FR4 substrate and the dimension is 22.5 mm x 18.5 mm x 2.8 mm. The Antenna covers the LTE 40 frequency band application from 2.3–2.4 GHz (resonance at 2.35 GHz). Different performance parameters: return loss, VSWR, radiation pattern, current distribution, gain and efficiency are analyzed. The proposed …

Simulation and Analysis of S-CSRR PIFA for C-band 5G wireless networks
Abstract: In this paper, S-CSRR (Square-Complementary Split Ring Resonator) Planar Inverted F Antenna model is designed and simulated in the HFSS software. For compact and portable devices being preferred in 5G technology, the proposed antenna is helpful. The PIFA antenna with metamaterials (MTM) is beneficial for 4G and 5G wireless communication applications and covers C-band frequencies. The C-band frequency range of 3300-4200 MHz and 4400-5000 MHz is used in the research. …
