Abstract: Strychnosnux-vomica Linn. (Loganiaceae), known as Kupeelu in Ayurveda, has been commonly employed in Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia since long. It is a deciduous tree widely distributed in India and found throughout topical India and additionally in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
