Design and Performance Comparison of Secure Routing Protocol in Integrated UMTS and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks
Abstract: The impact of routing attack on the Integrated Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) ad hoc network can be minimized by choosing a suitable secure routing protocol. This paper introduces a new secure inter-domain routing protocol SNAuth_SPERIPv2 and its performance comparison with other secure routing protocols for Constant Bit-Rate (CBR) voice conversational traffic. Keywords: Integrated UMTS and WLAN Ad Hoc network, Scalability, QoS, Routing, Security, …

Comparative Performance Analysis of Inter-Domain Routing in Integrated UMTS and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks with CBR Conversational Traffic Class on Various Routing Protocols
Abstract: Integration of Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Ad Hoc Networks is to increase services for mobile host and improve coverage of UMTS Networks. Inter-Domain routing is new challenge for Integrated UMTS and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks due to multiple base stations and gateways. This paper presents a comparative performance analysis for Inter-domain routing in Integrated UMTS and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks with symmetric Constant-Bit-Rate …

Background Service QoS in Integrated UMTS-HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks with Various Inter-Domain Routing Protocols
Abstract: AbstractThe Next Generation Network (NGN) allows the service providers to extend the coverage and capacity of existing network towards rural and hot spots area with large variety of services. Integrated UMTS-HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks is most eligible NGN’s under this category. The integrated network offers a large variety of services e.g. conversational, streaming, interactive, and background class. This paper focuses on asymmetric best-effort service belonging to the background …

Performance of Inter-Domain Routing Protocols for Interactive Services under QoS Guarantee in a UMTS-HSDPA and WLAN Ad- Hoc Networks
Abstract: For mobile user’s satisfaction, Quality of Service (QoS) is one of the major issues for the deployment of Next Generation Networks for non real time internet applications. Integrated UMTS-HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks is most eligible NGNs under this category. The integrated network offers large variety of non real time services e.g. interactive, and background class. This paper focuses on asymmetric non real time service belonging to the interactive …

Comparative Performance Analysis of Inter-Domain Routing Protocols in Integrated HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks with Streaming Traffic
Abstract: AbstractIntegration of HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks is to increase coverage and capacity of UMTS Networks. Inter-Domain routing is new challenge for them due multiple hopes away end users. This paper presents a comparative performance analysis for Inter-domain routing in Integrated HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc Networks with asymmetric voice and video streaming traffic class on BellmanBGPv4, Bellman, RIPv2 and RIPv2BGPv4 routing protocols. Keywords: Integrated HSDPA and WLAN Ad Hoc …
